Dance The Ghost With Me

Access Denied

My anger is a sign of disgust with myself
A stewing serenade I hear the sirens on their way
The chemicals inside of me just kept on swimming through my veins
Maybe I should make a move and try to leave this all behind
I listen to the absence of noise
Dead summer breeze, I’m inflated with suspicions
Seems I’ve identified again the criminal of my intent
Imagine exercising that same routine you reinvent
I’m just a cold face on the street
slow and somber in my patterns
I’m just a friend you’ll never meet
I am the love that never happens
My days exist in meaningless ways
I need a way to shake this
I’m making lost time famous
My heart goes rushing to my head whatever happened to me
Weeks spin forward I’m aware that I’ve been living in reverse
I always hesitate like the future is engraved
Roots here grow really deep they’re networked beneath the city streets
It’s a structured kind of madness
I always turn away back to a safer fate
I always hesitate

Simply Because I'm Bored
I've already been tagged by several people but I'm usually really lazy when it comes to memes and only do them in desperate need of anything better to do.

(1) List 10 celebrities you would have sex with without even asking questions.
(2) Put all of them IN ORDER of your lust for them.
(3) Say which movie/show/thing it was that hooked you.
(4) Supply photos for said people.
(5) Tag five people!

You're the reason I love losing sleep )<3

In silence, I'm yours
In this shadow, I shrink
And it knows I can't move, I can't sleep
Terrified by my own bloodshot eyes
So I wait here and pray
"I pray that I was all wrong about prayer"
I do know that this is truly tired
It still grows in my stomach like mold
It keeps me just sick enough to stay home all alone

Writer's Block: The Bad Habit

Talk about a habit that you just cannot break.

i don't get very close to people that often, but when i do i go head first. i throw myself into the few friendships i manage to have whole heartedly. it always goes south in the end. always. i've never ever experienced a lasting friendship. my bad habit is trusting too much that people will be willing to put up with or give themselves as much as i do. it never works that way. never.

The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test
"Here's what I hope will happen on this trip," he says. "What I hope will continue to happen, because it's already starting to happen. All of us are beginning to do our own thing, and we're going to keep doing it, right out in front, and none of us are going to deny what other people are doing"

"Bullshit," says Jane Burton.

This brings kesey up short for a moment, but he just rolls with it.

"That's Jane," he says. "And she's doing her thing. Bullshit. That's her thing and she's doing it."
"None of us are going to deny what other people are doing. If saying bullshit is somebody's thing, then he says bullshit. If somebody is an ass-kicker, then that's what he's going to do on this trip, kick asses. He's going to do it right out front and nobody is goin to have anything to get pissed off about. He can just say, 'I'm sorry I kicked you in the ass, but I'm not sorry I'm an ass-kicker. That's what I do, I kick people in the ass.' Everybody is going to be what they are, and whatever they are, there's not going to be anything to apologize about. What we are, we're going to wail with on this whole trip."

It's A Buzz

Adele - Daydreamer
Daydreamer, sittin’ on the seat
Soaking up the sun he is a
Real lover, makin’ up the past and feeling up his girl like he’s never felt her figure before
A jaw dropper
Looks good when he when he walks, he is the subject of their talk
He would be hard to chase, but good to catch and he could change the world with his hands behind his back

Air - Playground Love
My hands are shaking
I feel my body remains, themes no matter, I’m on fire
On the playground, love.

Val Emmich - High Noon
You're the feeling I'm after
You're pounding me in my chest
What's that deafening laughter?
Oh I know I know I know
Darling you are my master
Hope you seeing my s.o.s.
Can we move any faster?

Amusement Parks On Fire - The Ramones Book
Walk backwards through this
Without blinking

M83 - Dark Moves Of Love
The time is blowing out
Dividing you and me
Can you see me?

Deftones - Anniversary Of An Uninteresting Event
No more gold lights for the queen earth to keep you warm in your kingdoms
High on the waves you make for us
But not since you left have the waves come

Andrew Bird - Scythian Empire
five day forecast bring black tar rains and hellfire
while handpicked handler's kid gloves tear at the inseams

10cc - I'm Not In Love
I keep your picture upon the wall
It hides a nasty stain that's lyin' there
So don't you ask me to give it back
I know you know it doesn't mean that much to me

Baumer - Lucky Strike
Relapsing into what you call insane
Inhaling love like a cigarette
And hoping a lucky strike's up next

Love- you say it calms your nerves
Love- stills your hand as it burns
You say its cool and keeps you thin
This one's done- light one up again

Lisa Germano - From A Shell
And the world stands still not a sound not, a sound

I Want One That's Indestructible

i'm always building them without paying attention to detail.
they're weak and give way too easily.
i need some new blue prints, but, why bother?
i'm not an architect, so why am i trying to do an architects work?

...i just want to know what's on the other side.

Everything is wrecked and grey
I'm focusing on your image
Can you hear me in the void?

It's Nearly Six Am...
why the fuck am i still sitting here?

i haven't been writing so much lately. i chalk it up to complete lack of want to do anything lately. for now, i'll just settle for this ridiculous pass of time. i've just taken a few of my favorite suggestions from frankenmixes here. i uploaded these to a site that actually allows you to listen to the songs so you can decide whether or not you want to dl them individually (if at all).

i even made a not so fancy cover!

The Tracklist

1. A song about being recognized
Goo Goo Dolls - Iris
And I'd give up forever to touch you
Cause I know that you feel me somehow
You're the closest to heaven that I'll ever be
And I don't want to go home right now

2. A song about watching
Heavens - Watching You
And when everything that you do loses beauty
When everything's taboo and unkind
And the only thing you ever dream of is sharpening knives

3. A song for sunshine
The Escape Frame - The Desire
I'd love to see the world inside your eyes

4. A song about being lost
Boyce Avenue - Find Me
You sleep, here in my arms
Where the world just shuts down for awhile

5. A poetic song
The Fray - Look After You
It's always have and never hold
You've begun to feel like home
What's mine is yours to leave or take
What's mine is yours to make your own

6. A song about weaknesses
Taking Back Sunday - My Blue Heaven
And it's all too familiar
And it happens all the time.
All the cards begin to stack up,
Twisting heartache into fine
Little pieces that avoid an awful crime,
But it's you I can't deny

7. A song for a car chase
The Bravery - Fearless
Too many fingers, too many thumbs
Something wicked this way comes
The best time I've ever had
Waiting around for something bad

8. A cover song that you think is better than the original
Alkaline Trio - Exploding Boy
Tell yourself we'll start again
Tell yourself it's not the end
Tell yourself it couldn't happen... not this way
Not too late

9. A song you wouldn't throw out of bed, if it came to that
Team Sleep - Kool-Aid Party
My luck is changing
I feel a raising
Deep in your head
And I'll scream when my ship has come in

11. You'll stop listening to this song when they pry your MP3 player out of your cold, dead hands
Smashing Pumpkins - Tonight Tonight
Time is never time at all
You can never ever leave without leaving a piece of youth
And our lives are forever changed
We will never be the same
The more you change the less you feel

10. Your favorite song this month
OneRepublic - Say (All I Need)
all I need
Is the air I breathe
And a place to rest my head

12. A song you would sing in the shower
The Cast Before The Break - From The Earth At A Crossroad
Chasin' down the angels in their holiday suits demanding enlightenment
It won't be found here - heaven's closed for repairs
The bible tells it stories with a fancy facade, its message cannot compare
I would rather write my own rulebook

13. A song about the loss of love
Gregory and The Hawk - Boats and Birds
but you can skyrocket away from me
and never come back if you find another galaxy
far from here with more room to fly
just leave me your stardust to remember you by

14. A song about hope
Subseven - Free To Conquer
Kill the “you” that hold’s you back

i am fully aware of my appalling taste in music. i'm just taking this opportunity to make it widely known, i guess.

maybe a few of you will do it too? i'd love to see what you come up with!

HONESTY MEME
You know how this works, and if not here goes:

Whether you are on my f-list or not, you can comment here with your username, and people, can anonomously (or non-anonomously) tell you what they think about you. Remember, this isn't here for you to be a bitch just because you can, there is a difference between being honest and being a complete tool.

Play fair kiddies.
